Did you know that your body records its own experience of an event in terms of physical energy without us even being consciously aware? To completely heal and release an event, it must be processed NOT ONLY in the mind, BUT ALSO in the language of the body, which is energy. Emotions and sensations are energy. It is my pleasure to assist clients with processing the emotions and somatic energy attached to life experiences. ENERGY COUNSELING
is the combination of traditional counseling and energy therapy.
It is a guided interactive mediation that allows the client to address the issue in both the mind and the automatic response system of the physical body. Healing and releasing the body’s unconscious energetic experience of the issue is key to finding relief, clarity, and a new way forward. For those that have tried traditional counseling and feel like they need something more, this session is for you!
REIKI THERAPY
Based on Eastern-medicine practices of shifting energy in the body.
Emotions can become stuck in the body and influence behaviors, amplify reactions, and manifest as physical pain. Energy healing is accomplished through a combination of meditation and Reiki therapy. This is for the client who doesn’t necessarily want to explore the emotions in full detail, but would like to release the energy of the stuck emotion.
COUNSELING
is the traditional conversation with a therapist.
I use solution focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to assist clients with understanding their thoughts and behaviors. This allows them to open up to other possible perspectives of the situation in order to make positive life changes. This is for the client who needs a bit of coaching or prefers to talk things through and come to their own Ah-ha.
